GAP YEAR GIRL INTERVIEW
Camryn,
What is it like to be a Gap Year Girl?

TGYG has helped light my fire again and go after what I truly want. Not only has it improved my life, but also the lives of others around me.
I had a breakthrough when I realized that a lot of the blocks that I currently am facing are because of self-doubt and lack of confidence. That self-doubt steams from not fulling accepting myself for who I am or where I am at in life.
Having that knowledge reminds me to take the present moment and circumstances and move forward.
While I was going through the activities, I had many moments of reflection and saw a different, more excited part of myself.
I have a list of interests that I can start exploring and a ton of adventures ahead of me.
The Gap Year Girls has helped light my fire again and go after what I truly want. Not only has it improved my life, but also the lives of others around me.
How have the core principles – awareness, acceptance, alignment, action, accountability – helped you?
I consistently go back to these five principles when I am feeling stuck and even speaking to a friend about roadblocks they are experiencing.
Any key take-aways?
The Gap Year Girls has opened so many doors for my personal development and has given me the courage to be exactly who I am.
